Wave energy has much more potential and benefits than other forms of renewable energy. It is predictable, consistent, controllable wind or solar In this way, an adequate infrastructure can be alternative also sustainable system for power supply. paper, different wave conversion mechanisms (buoys, Pelamis, oysters) have been described. These models are implemented simulated using the Design Modeller, ANSYS-AQWA, WEC-SIM applications. The purpose to develop a complete simulation converter discuss its operation. analysis developed in Matlab-Simulink both regular irregular waves considered. For this, approximation linear theory used. results obtained indicate absorbed from sea supplied grid. estimated with WEC comparable shown by research papers.
